About Our Community
We have promised ourselves that we shall always treat our residents as we would our own loved ones. Nothing less than our best will do.
A Campus Community
Emeritus at Anderson Place is the only continuing care retirement community in Anderson offering independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation all on one campus. Anderson Place sits on 12 acres and includes 76 independent living cottages, a 30-room assisted living area and a 44-bed skilled nursing facility – all single-story buildings. While our community has been here serving senior since 1987, Emeritus at Anderson Place is exceptionally well maintained and easy to navigate, with covered walkways connecting all of the buildings and lovely shared patio areas creating outdoor living spaces.
Our unique and convenient campus community allows residents to easily transition from one level of care to the next, and from one area of our property to another. With the same friends, same great menu and caring staff, they can move through the community as their health needs change, ensuring that they receive the appropriate care to support the best quality of life possible. Here at Emeritus at Anderson Place, our warm, family-like environment is ideal for any senior looking to find a new place to call home.
The Perfect Location:
Located in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains on the outskirts of Anderson, South Carolina, Emeritus at Anderson Place is approximately halfway between Atlanta, Georgia, and Charlotte, North Carolina – convenient to both mountains and coast. The countryside here is beautiful and the living, tranquil. There is always plenty to see and do! Emeritus at Anderson Place is located less than 10 minutes off Interstate I-85 and is convenient to numerous medical facilities, churches, banks and shopping centers. We’re also located just five minutes from downtown Anderson, a lovely area where there are many cultural events, which our residents enjoy throughout the year.
A Wonderful Selection:
Independent Living – Our one- and two-bedroom cottages are designed to provide the privacy of a single home, yet are connected via covered walkways to the main clubhouse, where activities and dining are held. Each cottage has its own private patio, full kitchen, a living area and breakfast nook – and our two-bedroom homes include two full baths. The monthly rent includes the resident’s choice of meals per day, transportation services, housekeeping and activities. The main clubhouse includes an activities area, onsite chapel and exercise gym. Anderson Place also offers an outdoor swimming pool, available to all residents.
Assisted Living – The assisted living area of the community is known as the Summer House, single story in design, with 14 studios and 16 suites. Two styles of apartments are available: a studio with one large room in which the bedroom and sitting area are together, and a suite with one bedroom and separate living room. All assisted living apartments include a kitchenette and private wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. Residents also have full access to several common patio areas, a lovely sunroom where they can watch television and read, an activities room and dedicated dining room. They may also take full advantage of all the amenities in our main club house. And covered walkways throughout our campus protect residents from inclement weather.
Skilled Nursing – Our skilled nursing facility cares for residents who need short-term rehabilitation or long-term care services. Both private and semi-private rooms are available. Renovated in 2008, this area of our campus offers a comforting homey atmosphere with carpeted hallways, wood flooring in the rooms, beds that look like they belong in a home and flat-screen televisions in each room. For our long-term care residents, we offer onsite hospice care as required.
Emeritus at Anderson Place takes pride in hiring the best and most experienced staff in the industry. Our team includes top-notch professionals with many of our team members having tenures of 10-plus years. The management team uses extreme care when selecting those that will serve our residents and families. We live our brand promise at Emeritus at Anderson Place and it shows: “Our family is committed to yours.”
