About Our Community
We have promised ourselves that we shall always treat our residents as we would our own loved ones. Nothing less than our best will do.
This is the promise that the staff at Emeritus at Brandon – and throughout Brookdale Senior Living communities – has shared since 1990, when our assisted and retirement living community first opened its doors. It’s a simple promise to be compassionate and kind, understanding and respectful – a promise to become extended family to the seniors entrusted in our care and to our residents who have chosen our retirement community.
The Perfect Location
Emeritus at Brandon is conveniently located to I-75 which can take you to Busch Gardens, the Tampa Theatre or the Aquarium in Channel-side. We are nearby a major hospital, rehabilitation centers and many physicians’ offices. You will enjoy our beautiful oak trees which greet you as you walk about our seven acres for some fresh air.
A Wonderful Selection
Our community has a homey feeling on two floors with 90 senior apartments. It has several apartment styles including private and semi private. You will find gathering places to enjoy with your new Brookdale friends and a private Dining Room to entertain your family.
Strong, Caring Professional Relationships
We partner with a podiatrist, optometrist, physical therapists, and other geriatric physicians to bring you the best variety of services right here on our premises for your convenience. It is known for our friendly residents and staff members. Many of our staff has longevity with Brookdale of several years. They are committed to excellent care of our residents.
Our Community Lifestyle
A Wonderful Active Lifestyle
Emeritus at Brandon has a vibrant activities program which includes clubs, speakers, games, cards, gardening, music, spiritual, holiday celebrations and so much more. There is a bus to provide comfortable transportation to scenic drives and doctor appointments. You may also enjoy lunch out with the gang and a variety of entertainers from Elvis impersonators to Piano players.
Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community
To enrich the lives of our residents and our community, we have interactive events throughout the year. This has included our yearly Garage Sale to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, the sandwiches our residents made for a local soup kitchen and when the Girl Scouts and local Churches come to sing to our residents. We have monthly events that we invite the community to attend such as Holiday or Theme days. Please contact us for details.
Led by our 15 year tenured Dining Director, our staff will treat you to restaurant style dining. There will be two hot entrees at each meal from which to choose planned by a dietician. You will enjoy special festivities outside during lovely weather.
