About Our Community
We have promised ourselves that we shall always treat our residents as we would our own loved ones. Nothing less than our best will do.
This is the promise that the staff at Brookdale Champion Oaks, formerly known as Emeritus at Champion — and throughout Brookdale senior living communities — has shared since 2001, when our community first opened its doors. It’s a simple promise to be compassionate and kind, understanding and respectful — a promise to become extended family to the seniors entrusted in our care and to our residents who have chosen our retirement community for its active lifestyle.
The Perfect Location
Set on beautifully landscaped grounds with a courtyard and lovely gardens, Brookdale Champion Oaks is considered one of Houston’s premier retirement communities. Located near I-45 North and 1960 West, our community offers a smaller, more intimate family-style environment with just 47 senior apartments all on one floor for easy access and maximum safety. Here our residents — in many cases, with their pets — enjoy retirement living. Yet should you need a helping hand from our warm and caring staff, we offer complete assisted living services, tailor-made to your needs. Our services are designed to focus on wellness, helping you maintain or improve your health, so you can live as independently as possible.
A Wonderful Selection
Our warm and loving environment, along with many common areas — including our lovely dining room, library and activities center — give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to socialize and get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities each month, including trips to sporting events, the theater, shopping centers, museums and our local senior centers. Brookdale Champion Oaks is located in a quiet residential area near many parks and Lake Conroe. We are also centrally located to many medical facilities, including Houston Northwest Medical Center, The Cancer Center, The Foot & Ankle Center, The Center for Arthritis, several rehabilitation centers, dialysis and geriatric specialists, and a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed.
