About Our Community
We have promised ourselves that we shall always treat our residents as we would our own loved ones. Nothing less than our best will do.
This is the promise that the staff at Emeritus at Forrest Park – and throughout Brookdale Senior Living communities – has shared since our community first opened its doors. It’s a simple promise to be compassionate and kind, understanding and respectful – a promise to become extended family to the seniors entrusted in our care and to our residents who have chosen our retirement community for its active lifestyle.
The Perfect Location
Emeritus at Forrest Park is located in Hattiesburg, MS, a certified retirement community and college town. The local area hosts numerous restaurants, shops, and artistic venues all flavored with the southern Mississippi charm and warmth.
Emeritus at Forrest Park shares a beautiful campus with our sister community, Emeritus at Pine Meadow. We are located less than a mile south of Forrest General Hospital and the Hattiesburg Clinic complex. Our private driveway opens up to a lovely campus which is surrounded by a greenway of trees between our communities and a friendly secure quiet residential neighborhood.
A Wonderful Selection
Forrest Park offers many varied living arrangements and senior apartments. We have rooms sizes starting with our efficiency apartment through our two-bedroom suite and we also offer companion living and respite stays. All of our rooms have a private bathroom, and a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator. They also enjoy a large window overlooking our manicured grounds.
When you walk into Forrest Park, the first thing you will notice is our cozy homelike environment. You will probably find a number of residents enjoying each others company, playing games, watching television or just sitting and talking. As you continue your tour, you will visit our spacious, open high ceiling dining room with accommodations for all. Attached to our main dining area is a private dining room available to the residents for family visits and private parties. From the dining area you will stop by our activity room where our puzzle club is putting the finishing touches on one of their masterpieces. Next stop is the beauty shop where the gossip is flowing and the laughs are contagious. As you enter the living areas, you will see our laundries complete with vending machines where our residents can get that midnight snack or soft drink. Forrest park offers these amenities on both floors and both wings of our living areas.
Strong, Caring Professional Relationships
We nurture strong relationships with area hospitals, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers. Through the communications and relationships that we share with key staff within these affiliations, we provide seamless continuum of care for our residents.
Forrest Park boasts a well trained loving staff, that take ownership of our residents’ care and relates to them as our extended family.
