About Our Community
We have promised ourselves that we shall always treat our residents as we would our own loved ones. Nothing less than our best will do.
This is the promise that the staff at Emeritus at Fox River—and throughout Brookdale Senior Living communities—has shared since our community first opened its doors. It’s a simple promise to be compassionate and kind, understanding and respectful—a promise to become extended family to the seniors entrusted in our care and to our residents who have chosen our assisted living community.
The Perfect Location
We are conveniently located one mile west of Hwy 41, take College Avenue exit west to the corner of College Ave. & Mayflower Rd, halfway between Fox River Mall and Outagamie Airport. Fox River Assisted Living is also close to shopping (2 minutes away), parks for picnics & concerts, theatres, the Timber Rattlers baseball stadium. Although close to the city, our location offers a private, wooded setting with a beautiful country lane for walking.
A Wonderful Selection
The unique architectural design of our building offers attractive apartments, with large windows in each apartment, including uplifting light and views from our dining room, library, community room, lobby and club rooms. Our residents love to gather in our spacious common areas and can often be found playing billiards, cards, or enjoying one of our many planned daily activities. Apartments come in a variety of sizes from studios to one bedroom deluxe and are known for their clean, warm, and homey atmosphere.
In addition to our many professional caregivers we have two RN’s on staff. We love getting to know each resident and we feel each one deserves to receive our best each day, helping them to live life to the fullest. Our company promise of “Our Family is Committed to Yours” is evident every day at Emeritus at Fox River. We encourage you to stop by and meet our caring staff, who will treat your loved one like family.
Our Community Lifestyle
A Wonderful Active Lifestyle
Along with activities, games & crafts seven days per week at our community, we enjoy going out to dinner every week on our community bus, going to Concerts in the Park, to the Chain of Lakes for a boat ride or to dip our feet in the water, personal shopping, thrift shops, country rides and more. We have walking clubs, cooking clubs, card clubs & men’s club. We also enjoy special events at our community: petting zoos, picnics, barbecues & holiday parties. We have a fun filled “Happy Hour” every Friday afternoon with live entertainment, drinks, and snacks–families welcome!
Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community
Emeritus at Fox River partners with local organizations including: Emeritus at Fox Valley Senior Resource Network, The Thompson Community Center, Menasha Senior Center, The Alzheimer’s Association and other Senior Living Communities to provide informative and entertaining events for our residents, family members and the community. At Emeritus at Fox River Senior Living, we host an educational or social event each month.
Strong, Caring Professional Relationships
Well developed, strong professional relationships with local physicians, area hospitals, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, and nursing homes strengthen our ability to consistently provide services that maximize our residents’ physical and mental well-being. We regularly interact with our local Aging and Disability Resource Center to provide solutions for the seniors in our area.
Emeritus at Fox River is dining at its best! With your choice of two entrees, our nutritious meals are served restaurant-style to your table, followed by our scrumptious homemade desserts. We have delicious Barbecues, Picnics & Holiday meals that all families and friends are invited to.
