Emeritus at Greensboro is located in the heart of the North Carolina Triad. Our community is a part of the well-known and prestigious southwest Greensboro, close to Lake Jeanette just off Pisgah Church Road on Lawndale Drive. Emeritus of Greensboro is just 25 minutes from Winston-Salem and a 45 minute drive from Durham/Chapel Hill. The local attractions are Country Park, Battleground Park and the Greensboro Science Center.
Some of the shopping centers nearby include Lawndale Crossing, Village Shopping, which includes the Fresh Market, Target, Earth Fare and Walmart. Moses Cone and Wesley Long Hospitals are within a couple of miles and there are many medical parks within a close proximity. Triad Stage is only minutes away from our community and our Greensboro Grasshopper’s stadium is close by as well.

Our spacious common area has comfortable seating with a large sun room and a TV room where our residents and guests can kick back and relax. Our lovely courtyard is located in the center of our property with a large covered patio and rocking chairs so our residents can enjoy the fresh air in a secured, peaceful setting.

We offer a diverse activities program that is sure to keep our residents entertained, engaged and excited to live life to the fullest. Our senior living community offers the programs listed below that reflect the talents, interests and personalities of our senior residents. For example, we offer weekly card games for residents that enjoy competitive, friendly activities.
Our art classes engage residents in fostering their creativity. Our devotional activities resonate with the spiritual side of each resident, regardless of religious affiliation. We offer a large selection of movie choices to meet all the diverse entertainment interests. Weekly outings are offered to ensure that residents interact with our community. We offer monthly live entertainment that allows the residents to move about, dance and express themselves in a safe environment. We also offer special social events focusing on interests of our male residents to ensure everyone’s participation.
Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community
Our community participates on various committees within the community, including the TRLA Education and Advocacy committee, GSO Housing Summit, Alzheimer’s Association of Greensboro Walk, local schools that include Greensboro Day, Lawndale Baptist, and Mt Zion Baptist.
We offer a broad menu from traditional Southern to casual cuisine. Our residents are served restaurant style and restaurant quality foods. Several times a year we host special family dinners which allow our trained chefs to use their real creative sides under the direction of our Dining Services Director. Our Dining Services Director offers a wide range of experience which include fine dining restaurants, hospitals and assisted living facilities. Our warm dining room atmosphere and gracious staff make you feel like you’re dining at home with your family.

Emeritus at Greensboro held a free hot dog lunch today for local emergency responders to commemorate 9/11. We would like to extend a thank you for all who helped with the lunch and an especially big thank you for all that our local emergency responders do to keep our communities safe!
