About Our Community
We have promised ourselves that we shall always treat our residents as we would our own loved ones. Nothing less than our best will do.
This is the promise that the staff at Emeritus at Hunter’s Glen — and throughout Brookdale Senior Living communities — has shared since 1998, when our retirement community first opened its doors. It’s a simple promise to be compassionate and kind, understanding and respectful — a promise to become extended family to the seniors entrusted in our care.
The Perfect Location
Set on beautifully landscaped grounds with meandering trails and lovely gardens, Hunter’s Glen is one of Missoula’s premier assisted living communities. Nestled in the valley between Bitterroot Mountains and Mission Mountains near I-90, our senior living community offers 101 apartments on two floors. Here our residents — in many cases, with their pets — enjoy retirement living. Yet a helping hand from our caring staff is always close by. And in fact, our 24-hour licensed nursing staff is better able to care for residents with serious medical needs than any other assisted living community in the area.
A Wonderful Selection
Our common areas — including our lovely dining room, library and TV room — give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities every month, including exercise programs and off-site excursions. Hunter’s Glen is located in an urban area near Target, First Interstate, Barnes and Noble, Michaels, Home Depot and several parks. In addition, numerous medical facilities are in the area, including St Patrick Hospital, Community Medical Center and a nursing home rehabilitation center if ever needed.
Emeritus at Hunter’s Glen has some of the most compassionate and dedicated professionals in the senior living industry. Every member of our team goes above and beyond to make a difference in the life of our residents.

Our Community Lifestyle
Our senior living community is a safe, secure and social environment for active, independent seniors. One of the many benefits of this type of livin is that residents have more time to enjoy their hobbies and socialize with friends, and spend less time worrying about household tasks. In addition to our housekeeping and fine dining services, we offer scheduled transportation to appointments, a full array of activities and socials, and exciting off-site excursions to museums, shopping locales, concerts and a number of special events.
A Wonderful Active Lifestyle
The staff at our community regularly encourages a wonderful and active lifestyle for our residents. Our life enrichment director plans daily activities and regular trips to local attractions in the Missoula, Montana area. We have many brain health activities to keep our residents on their toes. Not to mention, we have an excellent health and wellness program to keep our residents fit and healthy. Activities, events and community social engagement are all a vital aspect in the daily lives of our residents. We go the extra mile to provide the very best.
At Brookdale, we understand all the benefits that pets can offer. We also know that many of our residents can’t imagine life without their furry, four-legged companions. So when we say, “Our family is committed to yours,” that includes this important member of your family. When you make a move to senior living, you shouldn’t have to give up your pet. That is why Brookdale Senior Living has Pet-Friendly apartments available at many of our communities nationwide for pets under 20 pounds.
Our fine dining services is delicious experience that goes that extra mile. We have a great menu to select from, and provide an amazing and attentive wait staff for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
