This is the promise that the staff at Emeritus at Orange – and throughout Brookdale Senior Living communities – has shared since 1999, when our community first opened its doors. It’s a simple promise to become extended family to the seniors entrusted in our care and to our retirees who have chosen our community for its active lifestyle.

Emeritus of Orange is located near a residential neighborhood and minutes from local freeways. Chapman Medical Center is within four blocks of our community. We are a short distance from local shopping areas, including historic Old Town Orange.
Emeritus of Orange is located in the heart of Orange County. We are close to the 55 freeway and convenient to area churches, schools, Old Town, Stater Bros., malls, banks, and pharmacies. El Modena Park ,Orange Senior Center. The Bowers Museum, and the Orange Hills Restaurant are located within minutes of our community.
A Wonderful Selection
Our community provides a home like atmosphere to our residents and extended family. All rooms are studios with a choice of 1/2 or full baths. We have a lovely interior courtyard in the center our community filled with trees and flowers. The courtyard is a perfect setting to visit with family and enjoy the outdoors.
Brookdale Senior Living motto is our family if committed to your family. Our corporate Emeritus provides on-going support and mentoring to our Emeritus community. Workshops and seminars are held to keep our staff informed of the latest updates, treatment, and care our resident’s needs.

Our staff has true commitment and concern for the well fair of our residents and their extended family. We have a staff member who has been serving our residents for over 30 years and is committed to her Brookdale family.
Our Community Lifestyle
A Wonderful Active Lifestyle
At Emeritus at Orange our residents are our number one priority. Our Life Enrichment Director works side by side with our residents to coordinate and plan activities. Monthly meeting are held to involve residents in activity planning for their community. Activities include outings, crafts, group exercises classes, and health and wellness enrichment classes. Religious services are available for those wishing to attend.
Activities include a full compliment of recreational, and education stimulation for our residents. Craft workshops, card games, movie nights, group exercise classes, pet therapy, trivia, and bingo are some of the many activities at our community. Monthly birthday ice cream socials are held in celebration for our residents and Brookdale family.
Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community
Local community colleges provide wellness classes for our community on a weekly basis. Our Brookdale family participates in community awareness programs, fundraisers, and walk-a-thons to bring light to the needs of local seniors and their families.
Our Dining Service Director provides balanced meals 3 times a day for our community. Special meals are celebrated one a month. With sit down full service dining daily with specialized and individual service. Accommodations are provided for those with special dietary needs.>
On July 20, the Emeritus at Orange community celebrated the beautiful lives of our 2nd Annual Ms. Emeritus at Orange Beauty Pageant nominees. On June 27, 11 communities (Brookhurst, Orange, Valley View, Fairwood, Garden Manor, Corona, Crown Pointe, Villa De Anza, Hemet, Palm Springs and Oceanside) drove their buses to Orange County to attend our 2nd Annual Senior Olympics.
