Adventure

This poem popped up when I was in a reflective mood.  These moods often come before

I go to sleep or just before I wake up.

What next?

Adventure and surprise!

When you open up your eyes

You see different persons, places, things

That every new day brings.

How then?

Adventure is differences

They challenge you to yearn

To understand and learn

The what and how and why

That cast your world awry.

Why so?

Adventure is ideas

That guide your growth and caring

When you know the world you're sharing,

Your aim becomes to give

And adventure's why you live.
