Commemoration

This was a "love and kisses, all's right with the world" kind of day!

John and Kelly waited, waited

Their every breath was bated, bated

And darling Becky waited too, too

For news that at last would be true, true

Then, on October 22, 2013, a blustery Atlanta morn

Samuel Luke Sadosky was born, born

In a fine new world he thrived

Shouts went up, the crowd arrived

Sam yowled, yowled, then smiled, smiled

At Becky's golden head awhile, awhile

Did he recognize the kindred soul, soul

Of she who'd play a special role, role

Who'd love him more than any other?

His Grandmother!  His Grandmother!

Becky knew he knew, knew

She'd see him through, through

With kind and patience

And her special brand of exuberance.

Congratulations, Grandma Becky

I love you Great-grandma Virginia
