Alverda

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Seventy, eighty, ninety…fine years accumulate

Alverda dances on to stimulate

To share the joy that’s in her heart

She is herself a work of art

 But, oh, Alverda fell and bumped her nose

It had to happen, I suppose

We must beware the pesky fall

That seems to happen to us all

Alverda, on your special day and ever

Take care, let your guard down never

Treat yourself like something precious

‘Cause that’s what you are on June 3rd

And to your many friends forever!
