A very short blog for a very cold day.

Outside the window, see the flock of black birds convening on the snow covered branches of their chosen meeting place.

Watch the three ladies mincing along on the treacherous sidewalk holding their snow encased umbrellas high in the sky.

The call of the cold, clean air and vivid blue sky was irresistible.

Out! Out !

Sun glasses as important as gloves for the bright rays that glinted off the clean snow.

Humor preceded me on my walk by placing small quizzical snowmen on a dozen benches.  Stick arms and pebble eyes followed me on my round.

I was the only human in sight, until one other intrepid person passed by following his red nose along the cleared path. We did not recognize each other, although I’m sure we know each other.  Incognito in winter gear.

Arriving home to remove layers and anticipating with pleasure the kiss of warmth on my face.
