Audrey Cahill, R.N.

Health and Wellness Director

When I first met Audrey Cahill, R.N.

I was impressed by her obvious competence,

Her calm, pleasant manner,

And her professional confidence.

Audrey’s attention focused on me that day

I cooperated with my needs assessment

My thoughts of her I dared not say:

“ZOWEE, WOWEE!!!” was my silent comment.

For Audrey’s unusual beauty struck me hard

Where on earth did she hail from?

Her compelling face caught me off guard

I determined to learn but felt a qualm.

Would this woman of substance think me nosy

Prying into business not of my own?

But interested I am and always will be

If I asked about health, more might be known.

Audrey graciously told me her background,

About all her work as director of nursing,

What satisfactions and problems she found,

And her goal to make a difference in residents’ living.

I was left with a deep appreciation

Of Audrey’s character and value,

Qualities that are her beauty’s revelation

And how she inspires her wonderful crew.

ZOWEE, WOWEE!!!  We are grateful to them all…
