“Rah” floats down this corridor

Thoughts and words say “yea”

Let’s have a happy day today…

“Bah” floats through a different door

Thoughts and words say “nay”

Let’s grumble instead today…

Days turn into a year of “rah”

Or, days turn into a year of “bah”

What kind of year do we leave behind?

What kind of new year do we seek to find?

Who do we choose to be?

Who do we want our friends to see?

I want to be more “rah” than “bah”

Why?  I want joy in my life

I do not want strife!

I know hundreds of ways to call

Happiness to us and so do we all

Let’s sit down and put our best to the test

Write New Year’s Resolutions!
