Our campus is a short drive from beautiful downtown Mesa, a favorite destination for dining, shopping and attending events at the Mesa Center for the Arts.
Our residents enjoy convenient access to the Red Mountain Senior Center as well. Scenic drives to Saguaro Lake and Tempe Town Lake are favorites on our monthly calendar, especially in May when the desert is in full bloom.

We feature well-appointed common areas, including our spacious lobby with and our family room with a cozy fireplace, game tables, puzzles and a comfortable seating area. Our elegant dining room features restaurant-style dining complete with table linens and wait staff.
We also have a private dining room for residents to enjoy family celebrations as well as a full-service salon with nail services on-site and a library lined with volumes of books and periodicals.
We offer several sun rooms, two on each floor located at two different corners of our building. One sunroom on our second floor has been designated as the Men’s Club where our residents play chess and pool. The Bay Club, on the third floor, is where we hold many events including entertainment and musical performances, as well as our weekly Happy Hour, daily exercise classes and movies on the weekend.
Residents can also reserve this room for private parties. Just off the Bay Club is a lovely balcony overlooking one of two courtyards. We also have a third courtyard designated just for our memory care residents. Our dining room faces our main courtyard. In the spring, dozens of beautiful lovebirds make our courtyard home.
At Brookdale Baywood, we believe dining well is part of living well. We offer restaurant-style dining for our residents with chef-prepared meals, and our chefs are always eager share their culinary talents to create new dishes for our residents to enjoy.
We serve three delicious meals daily with with a selection of menu choices. Menus change weekly and dishes are crafted to reflect the bounty of the season. Our chef is always open to suggestions and encourages our residents to share ideas for menu planning.
We offer an engaging calendar of activities, including bingo, Happy Hour socials, our Card Club, and manicures. We also have a meditation group, crafting workshops, themed movie nights and devotional services. Residents also enjoy B-fit walking, horse races, Bible study and our Yarn Club. We offer devotional services on-site as well as outings to restaurants, shopping, movies and plays.
