Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, our vibrant retirement community is located in the northeastern part of Oklahoma and the largest suburb of Tulsa. We are close to the best dining options and attractions our city offers.
With daily planned activities, created around the interests of our residents, we take scenic drives and make day excursions, visiting Ray Harrell Nature Park, the Military History Museum and Blue Bell Ice Creamery.
Our community features its own library, a private dining room, sun room and recreation and activity room. Our spacious apartments give seniors all of the comforts of home, while ensuring they can maintain their privacy, dignity and independence.
An exciting array of social, educational and cultural programs encourages each resident to renew their old interests and explore new ones.
Substantial investments in our culinary program and staffing, allow us to provide mealtime experiences that set our communities apart from the competition. From our Culinary Arts Training for chefs, to our select seasonings and bakery options, we’ve created one of the industry’s leading dining services. Our fine dining experience is prepared by a trained chef and receives nutritional support and recommendations from a registered dietician.
Three restaurant-style meals are served each day in the group dining room and snacks are provided throughout the day. We continue to meet the nutritional needs of residents with dining choices that offer satisfying entrees while meeting dietary requirements. Each meal offers a selection of delicious choices, sensational service and we always accommodate special restrictions and requests.
To help alleviate any confusion or added stress, we keep mealtimes very routine for our Memory Care community. Residents all sit together at the same time and same table each day. Meals are served on colorful plates and tablecloths so that they can more easily distinguish their food.
We also provide easy-to-eat snacks between meals, helping to ensure these residents get the nutrition and calorie count they need.
Residents can feel safe knowing some of the best medical facilities are all within an easy drive. In addition, home health and rehabilitation providers from the immediate area come into our community and offer services such as physical and occupational therapy, here in the comfort of the resident’s own home or in one of our many common areas.
Hospice is also always welcome. We can take residents to various rehabilitation facilities in the area, should they require more intensive therapy. A few physicians make house calls and local home health agencies occasionally sponsor health fairs at our community, offering a variety of free screenings to our residents.
As the population ages, more people are discovering assisted senior living and the peace of mind we offer. Our community’s approach focuses on being a trusted partner and listening to your needs, understanding the life you want for yourself or a loved one and customizing a solution that puts that life within reach.
We offer Assisted Living care so you’ll be prepared, if or when you need more assistance. It all begins with a personal service assessment. We take the time to listen to our residents, so we can understand their needs; then we establish clinical, dining and program support that works for them in a meaningful way.
Residents receive personal assistance and support with the daily activities and services needed, such as medication management, meals, bathing and dressing, as well as daily living activities and amenities for housekeeping and linen services, transportation and recreations. Our individualized care plans provide an ideal blend of convenience and support, with respect for personal preferences.
We partner with our residents, recognizing their individual needs and preferences, and adjust services to meet their changing needs. So whether it’s a unique snack, the celebration of a favorite season or a lifelong interest, we value the privilege of knowing our residents and building relationships with them to create a truly personalized living experience.
With our exclusive personal service system, you can live your life the way you want with the right care at the right time, delivered by the right people. Through years of experience serving seniors, we have developed a process that allows us to customize personal care plans for our Assisted Living residents. Your customized care plan means you only pay for the services you need and want, giving you the flexibility to change your plan.

Our Memory Care program was created over 25 years ago and continually embraces current research in Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care, coupled with the experience of caring for thousands of people with dementia. Associates help residents create daily moments of success, offering opportunities for them to experience a sense of purpose and meaning. A gently daily structure is provided to help maintain and encourage current skills.
Memory Care at Broken Arrow offers programs and a secure environment for those with Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia. We believe that no matter where an individual is in their life, each has the right to live in a dignified manner and enjoy meaningful experiences every day.
Deeply rooted in a person-centered approach, our program focuses on sustaining feelings of belonging and purpose while seeking to preserve a sense of self.
Providing excellent dementia care is a complex task that requires ongoing guidance and teaching for our staff members. All of our highly trained associates receive initial and on-going training in proper techniques, approach and care for seniors with dementia.
An established set of protocols and techniques enables our team to intervene when challenging behaviors resulting from dementia arise. The whole-community philosophy is the key that empowers the Brookdale staff to identify any unmet needs, and be a part of a solution.
