What Our Memory Care Community Can Offer You

Just because someone you love is experiencing memory loss, it doesn't mean that they should have to sacrifice their quality of life. Our residents spend their days in a secure environment, surrounded by familiar people who encourage them to enjoy life, experience feelings of belonging and purpose, and help to maintain their current skills through our daily path of engagement.

Here are just a few of the ways we help the seniors in our memory care programs make the most of this season of their lives:

A Secure Setting
Easy-to-navigate floor plans and extra details, such as soothing wall colors, provide the comforts of home, so our residents feel comfortable and not overwhelmed. With secured entries and exits and an enclosed courtyard and garden, residents remain secure while having complete freedom of movement. The picturesque centerpiece of our community is Town Square, a charming indoor re-creation of the center of a small town. You’ll also have peace of mind knowing there is trained staff on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.

A Warm and Welcoming Atmosphere
While our common areas are designed for socializing, our private and companion suites, all located on one floor for easy access, offer residents their own quiet, restful haven. You can choose which floor plan best fits your loved one’s needs. They feature private baths and large windows to let in abundant natural light. Our apartments are a place for your loved one to be surrounded by and find comfort in their own familiar furnishings, treasured family photos and keepsakes.

Consistent Care Assignments
Having an atmosphere that feels like home comes from relationship-rich care, consistent care partner assignments whenever possible and dedication to caring for our residents like family. We don’t just hire good people. We select staff that we would want to care for our family members. We also invest in quality training and education to help keep our team up-to-date on the latest dementia care techniques. Our attentive staff handles chores such as laundry and housekeeping while providing support throughout the day, whether during meals, taking medication, bathing or more.

Enriching Activities
The Clare Bridge Daily Path provides residents with a structured yet fun routine of activities — discussions for mental workouts, dancing for physical exercise — that help maintain their abilities and encourage their current skills, even with advanced expressions of the disease. The daily path is carefully structured to give your loved one a sense of security and accomplishment. Residents are offered engagement that provides challenge and stimulation but remains failure-free.

Personalized Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

We understand that techniques that work for one resident may not work for your loved one. Instead, our care partners are trained to provide person-centered care, which means we focus on understanding our residents’ histories, routines and preferences. But it's more than just a care approach. Our residents also benefit from our specialized environment and kind staff to support them at all stages of the disease.
