What Our Memory Care Community Can Offer You
Just because someone you love is experiencing memory loss, it doesn't mean that they should have to sacrifice their quality of life. Our residents spend their days in a safe place, surrounded by familiar people who encourage them to enjoy life, experience feelings of belonging and purpose, and maintain their current skills through our daily path of engagement.
Here are just a few of the ways we help the seniors in our memory care programs make the most of this season of their lives:
A Secure Setting
Easy-to-navigate floor plans and extra details, such as soothing wall colors, provide all the comforts of home, so our residents feel secure. The centerpiece of our community is Town Square, an indoor charming, picturesque re-creation of the center of a small town with cobblestones and faux storefronts. With keypad entries, monitored exits and an enclosed courtyard and garden, we strive to help our residents remain safe while enjoying a sense of freedom. You’ll have peace of mind knowing there is trained staff on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.
A Warm and Welcoming Atmosphere
Memory care residents thrive in an environment that feels comfortable and familiar, so we offer a friendly, home-like environment where cozy common living areas, inviting patios and courtyards, and a warm kitchen naturally draw people together. While our common areas are designed for socializing, our private and semi-private apartments offer residents their own quiet, restful haven with plenty of natural light and storage. Does your loved one have a beloved four-legged friend? We’re very pet-friendly and would love to welcome your pets into our community.
Consistent Care Assignments
Your loved one deserves to experience a full life in a place where they are well known. That’s why we carefully select kind and compassionate staff to care for our family of residents. It's also why we strive to provide the same care partners to your loved one on a regular basis to encourage familiarity and relationship-rich care. Not only will our team take on chores like housekeeping and laundry, but they will also provide support throughout the day with medication reminders, dressing, bathing and more. We can also help your family coordinate care with outside healthcare providers.
The Clare Bridge Daily Path provides residents with a structured yet fun routine of activities — discussions for mental workouts, dancing for physical exercise — that help maintain their abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. The Daily Path is carefully structured to give each resident purpose and a sense of security that they are right where they need to be. With gentle guidance and visual reminders, we help them flourish in gardening, kitchen work and other projects that provide the opportunity to use meaningful life skills and talents they already have.
Personalized Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care
We build relationships based on trust, loving concern and compassion. Our care associates get to know our residents’ histories, routines, and preferences to support person-centered care. We do this to help build stronger bonds with our residents and offer them a sense of stability and comfort that they are well-known where they live. Our care programs are tailored to each individual, meaning they can vary significantly among residents. But one thing never changes. We meet your family member right where they are, through all stages of the disease, helping live their best life with independence, dignity, and courage.
