Our Community

The way we approach Memory Care is by focusing on the individual. Our goal is to help our residents maintain their independence for as long as possible. We integrate fun and helpful programs every day, which are designed to help our Memory Care seniors retain their mental functions, be more engaged with the world and enjoy daily satisfaction.

Safe and Secure Environment

Our community features peaceful surroundings and a home-like setting designed to re-create environments people have enjoyed throughout their lives. Interior spaces are scaled and decorated like those of a private home and enclosed walking areas give residents the opportunity to safely explore their surroundings.

We want our residents to enjoy life’s precious moments, and we encourage them to continue engaging in different interests and activities. We provide activities that range from physical fitness to recreational pursuits to educational and spiritual programs. Each one is designed to stimulate, entertain and enrich the lives of each resident. Exercise programs are tailored to meet each resident’s needs.

Dining Tailored To Residents

Since we specialize in Memory Care, we are able to cultivate a dining experience that is geared toward our residents. We have a unique dietary program that was designed by dementia care experts, culinary associates, and registered dieticians. The program’s goal is for our residents to enjoy the dining experience.

We are on hand to assist in any way they need, perhaps using utensils, but our aim is to encourage our seniors to eat as independently as possible. Our in-house culinary staff provides freshly prepared meals and snacks with a rotating menu.

Levels of Care

Brookdale Fayetteville is dedicated to serving the special care needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. From our building design to our carefully selected staff and specialized programming and management, we focus on the individual needs of each resident and family we serve.

Memory Care

Maintaining familiar daily routines is important for our Alzheimer’s, dementia and memory care residents. Physical and behavioral needs, as well as life history each play integral roles in the way we care for our seniors. Each resident receives an individualized service plan designed to meet their unique needs and to help them feel safe while adding meaning to their day.

Individuals working with Alzheimer’s and dementia residents must have compassion and understanding. Our staff is carefully selected and trained to manage the challenges associated with dementia. All of our staff receives specialized training that’s based on the latest research, techniques, and approaches. Attendees also receive on-going training in order to continue serving their residents in the best possible way.

At our community, we implement the Clare Bridge Program, which has years of successful experience providing the right kind of care to those with memory loss. Through this program, we offer a Daily Path that provides a gentle structure to each day that targets our residents’ specific needs. It features…

  • Morning Mental Workout — Daily late morning mental exercises including discussions, brain stimulating games, and reminiscing.
  • Daily Physical Activity — A variety of exercise opportunities including group exercises, walking programs and dancing.
  • Daily Life Skills — Individual or group activities that provide a sense of purpose, meaning, and belonging.
  • Person Centered Life Enrichment Programming — Activities are designed using the resident’s own social history information as a foundation.

In addition to the Daily Path, we have a unique and state-of-the-art dining program that was designed by a team of specialists to help our seniors master and enjoy successful dining experiences. The Clare Bridge Dining Program offers dementia-friendly menus, individualized dining assistance, a supportive environment and consistent seating arrangements.
