All of our spacious apartment homes offer large bathrooms and emergency call systems, and are designed for the comfort of retirement living.
Our dining services feature restaurant-style choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and our lovely wait staff is always ready to take your order with a smile. And you won’t have to worry about home maintenance or chores. Our staff takes care of all that for you, leaving you time to pursue your interests.
Since we provide two levels of care — Assisted Living and Memory Care — Brookdale Greenwich Bay has the resources in place to adapt to your changing needs. With each level of care, our staff is there for you, in whatever way you need. Our aim is to keep you healthy, safe and enjoying as much independence as possible.
Sometimes you may need a little extra assistance with daily tasks, such as bathing, getting dressed or getting to and from places. But the last thing you want is for a community to come in and control your world — ordering you around and dictating what you can and can’t do. Not the case with Brookdale Greenwich Bay.
We work with you, as a partner. Our aim is to provide you with the most amount of independence possible to live a safe and healthy lifestyle. We will sit down with you during a personal service assessment and listen to you. We don’t push a one-size-fits-all Assisted Living care plan on you. Instead, we will work together to create a custom and personal plan that you are comfortable with.
We understand the importance of maintaining familiar daily routines for Alzheimer’s, dementia and memory care seniors. And we work to incorporate this into our Memory Care. Our dining program features a dementia-friendly menu that serves foods that are familiar to residents. We also have constant seating arraignments for seniors in the dining room.
Through our Memory Care, we provide a gentle structure to each day that features a minimum of six programs, each of which are designed to maintain a senior’s abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. This structure gives residents a sense of security and familiarity that gives them the confidence to tackle each day.
