What Our Memory Care Community Can Offer You
Just because someone you love is experiencing memory loss, it doesn't mean that they should have to sacrifice their quality of life. Our residents spend their days in a secure environment, surrounded by familiar people who encourage them to enjoy life, experience feelings of belonging and purpose, and help to maintain their current skills through our daily path of engagement.
Here are just a few of the ways we help the seniors in our memory care programs make the most of this season of their lives:
A Secure Setting
Designed with the specific needs of those living with dementia in mind, we strive to secure our community to help residents experience a “sheltered freedom,” with secure outdoor walking spaces, courtyards and gardens. Using industry-leading techniques like color-coding, way-finding cues, and personalized apartment entryways to encourage recognition, our goal is to gently guide each of our residents through days lived well. You’ll also have peace of mind knowing there is trained staff on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.
A Warm and Welcoming Atmosphere
Transitioning your family member to a new community can be stressful, but our team is ready to welcome them into our warm and nurturing environment with open arms. We’ve designed our community from the ground up with memory care residents in mind. We’ll help them feel comfortable in their private residence and our cozy common rooms. Our spacious senior apartments are bright and airy with private bathrooms. And you can rest assured your loved one will enjoy soul-filling natural light, large closets and that home sweet home feeling.
Consistent Care Assignments
Your loved one deserves to experience a full life in a place where they are well known. We provide services to do just that, like routine wellness monitoring and assistance coordinating care with outside healthcare providers. In addition, we strive to provide your family member with the same care partners on a regular basis whenever possible to promote familiarity and relationship-rich care. We know how difficult it can be to transition the care of your loved one to someone else, but our dedicated care team is here to help each resident feel comfortable and secure.
Our Clare Bridge Daily Path approach to Alzheimer’s and dementia care provides our residents with a sense of purpose, meaning and belonging. Through a gentle structure of six programs per day, activities are tailored to maintain our residents' abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. Your family member will engage in multiple activities that focus on cognitive retention and social interaction, and offer stimulation and challenge while remaining failure-free. Activities include brain games and discussions, arts and crafts classes, music programs, devotional services and fitness activities.
Personalized Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care
We are committed to building person-centered partnerships with relationships based on trust, loving concern and a sense of family. Our care associates get to know our residents’ histories, routines, and preferences to better support each resident’s unique needs of early, middle or late stages of Alzheimer's and other dementia. This helps us build strong bonds to provide your loved one with a sense of stability and comfort that they are well-known where they live.
