What Our Memory Care Community Can Offer You

Just because someone you love is experiencing memory loss, it doesn't mean that they should have to sacrifice their quality of life. Our residents spend their days in a secure environment, surrounded by familiar people who encourage them to enjoy life, experience feelings of belonging and purpose, and help to maintain their current skills through our daily path of engagement.

Here are just a few of the ways we help the seniors in our memory care programs make the most of this season of their lives:

A Secure Setting
We offer physical features, like large circular paths designed to lead residents to areas of activity, way-finding cues and spaces decorated like home. With secured entries and exits and an enclosed courtyard and garden, we strive to help keep our residents secure while encouraging a sense of freedom and independence to explore. You’ll also have peace of mind knowing there is trained staff on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.

A Warm and Welcoming Atmosphere
When you’re here, you’re home. Our entire community is built for those living with Alzheimer’s or other dementia. And although we might have a safety-first mentality, that doesn’t mean we skimped on the comfort. You and your family can choose between private and semi-private floor plans. These bright and light-filled apartments can be customized with your loved one’s favorite family photos and keepsakes.

Consistent Care Assignments
We’re able to provide trained staff with training specific to memory care. That means that you benefit from knowing that we are prepared to handle situations that might arise. We assign the same care partners to your loved one whenever possible to build person-centered partnerships and encourage familiarity. And our attentive staff handles chores such as laundry and housekeeping, plus medication reminders, dressing, and bathing, too.

Enriching Activities
We use an evidence-based practice called the Clare Bridge Daily Path to offer a gentle daily structure of six planned programs. This established routine helps your loved one maintain his or her abilities, encourages the use of current skills and offers a sense of security and accomplishment. It’s all about providing opportunities for our residents to live their best life, with engagement that offers stimulation and challenge but remains failure-free.

Personalized Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

We are committed to person-centered partnerships. In our care model, we build relationships with trust, loving concern and a sense of family. Knowing and being present with your loved one gives us a solid foundation to anticipate their needs and address behavioral expressions that may occur due to dementia symptoms. In addition, our care associates get to know our residents’ histories, routines and preferences so they can offer your loved one a sense of stability and comfort that they are well-known where they live through all stages of the disease.
