Multiple care options on a single campus in a resort-style setting can provide peace-of-mind as your needs change. Residents most often move into a CCRC when they are able to live independently, but have access to multiple levels of care including: Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, as well as a licensed rehabilitation and a skilled nursing care center for short-term recovery after a hospital stay, or when extended convalescence is needed.

Some CCRCs also offer home healthcare and hospice services. There are two types of CCRCs, Rental and LifeCare®. Although they vary by location, typical amenities featured are fitness centers, library, lounge, Town Hall, bank, beauty salon, pools, and restaurant-style dining.
