Memory Care at Brookdale Reno
Our memory care focuses on creating a personalized experience. That means there is no one-size-fits-all approach to care here. Techniques that work for one resident may not work for your family member, so we tailor care to the individual and help address their needs with consistent care assignments whenever possible. Whether it’s our Clare Bridge program for mid to late stages of dementia or our Solace program for the advanced stages of dementia, we have purposeful programs with the compassionate care you and your family need. Here are some of the programs and services we offer:

Clare Bridge
Clare Bridge is our exclusive brand of dementia care created more than 30 years ago.

Solace
Clare Bridge Solace is designed to meet the special needs of residents in the advanced stages of dementia.

Activities
On any given day, you’ll see our residents gathering for ice cream socials and other get-togethers, reminiscing about the old days, listening to music, playing cards, getting creative with arts & crafts or watching a movie. They also try their hand at trivia, word searches and puzzles to strengthen their brain and take nature walks and B-Fit exercise classes to strengthen their body. Outings might be to a local pet store or for drives around the Reno area. Yes, each of these activities is enjoyable, but they’re also part of a carefully designed care program to help your loved one live their best life.Activities Calendar

Dining
To help alleviate any confusion or added stress, we keep mealtimes routine for your family member. Memory care residents typically do not eat large amounts of food at one time, so to ensure they have a sufficient calorie intake, our menu includes entrée choices and three snacks a day. Entrées include such dishes as marsala chicken, seasoned baked sole with lemon and braised pork chop with gravy. We also offer textured and finger foods, as some residents cannot use utensils, but we also provide dining assistance as needed to help residents preserve their dining skills.Sample Menu
