As you and your family consider care for your loved one with Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia, we can help. At Brookdale Delta, located in an upscale area of Lansing, Michigan, we have decades of experience in understanding the complexity of memory care. We also have a safe, comfortable, home-like environment for your loved one to live and thrive.
With gentle guidance and visual reminders, we help residents flourish in activities such as gardening, kitchen work and other projects that provide the opportunity to use meaningful life skills and talents — even when dementia is advanced. And for you, there’s peace of mind knowing we have trained staff on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.
Memory Care at Brookdale Delta
Deeply rooted in a person-centered approach means there is no one-size-fits-all approach to care here. Techniques that work for one resident may not work for your loved one, so we tailor care to the individual and help ensure their needs are well-known with consistent care assignments whenever possible. We have purposeful programs with the compassionate care you and your family need, from our Clare Bridge program for mid to late stages of dementia or our Solace program for the advanced stages of dementia. Here is a closer look at some of our programs:
Clare Bridge is our exclusive brand of dementia care created more than 30 years ago.
Clare Bridge Solace is designed to meet the special needs of residents in the advanced stages of dementia.
ActivitiesOur residents like to have fun, so you’ll see them socializing at parties and other get-togethers, reminiscing about the old days, listening to music or cooking something up in the community kitchen. Maybe you’ll find them playing cards, getting creative with arts & crafts or gathering for a movie. Each of these activities is enjoyable, yes, but they’re part of a carefully designed care program to help our residents live their best life.
DiningDesigned by a team of experts specializing in dementia care, culinary arts and nutrition, our supportive dining environment encourages familiarity and socialization during mealtime. All residents sit together at the same time and same table each day, and place settings enhance and provide ease for each person. Plus three flavorful, nutritious home-style meals including snacks are served daily in our dining area.
Our memory care program is deeply rooted in a person-centered approach. We offer the necessary resources and nurturing staff to care for those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
