Chief Marketing Officer
David Cygan joined Brookdale in August 2014 and has served as Chief Marketing Officer since October 2019. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Marketing from August 2014 to October 2019. Mr. Cygan is responsible for leading marketing, connection center sales, public relations and associate communications for the company.
Prior to joining Brookdale, Mr. Cygan served as Vice President of Marketing for Kindred at Home (now CenterWell Home Health) and as Director of Marketing and Advertising for AT&T. Prior to this, he held various marketing management roles in telecommunications, security monitoring and visual systems technology.
Mr. Cygan earned a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University. He currently serves as an Independent Board Director for Fidelity Memorial Group.
