Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Assistant Treasurer
Teddy Hillard joined Brookdale in January 2010 and has served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development since October 2020 and Assistant Treasurer since July 2025. In his role, Mr. Hillard is responsible for leading growth and capital strategy, as well as supporting financial planning, analysis and treasury functions across the organization. He previously served in various corporate development roles with increasing responsibility.
Prior to joining Brookdale, Mr. Hillard worked in the investment banking and equity research groups at Avondale Partners from 2006 to 2009.
Mr. Hillard earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Vanderbilt University. He currently serves on the executive board of the American Seniors Housing Association. An alumnus of the Nashville Health Care Council Fellows program, he also served as a board member for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Future Leaders Council for the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care.
