Laura is the creator and host of the public radio podcast Dating While Gray: The Grown-Up’s Guide to Love, Sex, and Relationships. Dating While Gray began as a writing project after Laura’s marriage of 30 years ended. She started talking with experts on dating and relationships and with older single and recoupled people. She learned from them about seeking, finding and keeping love in later years. Laura is also an award-winning author of several nonfiction books for young readers. She has two grown children and lives in Reston, Virginia where she is active with the Reston Runners and a board member for its charitable arm, the Reston Runners Community Fund.
