Brookdale Tullahoma, formerly Emeritus at Tullahoma, is a Tullahoma,TN Assisted Living facility for seniors. Our community is nestled in a residential area in the heart of the charming Tennessee town of Tullahoma. We enjoy all four seasons in our area and the four lakes in our vicinity are breathtaking during the fall months.
Our residents enjoy our weekly joy rides that take advantage of the local sites, attractions, amenities and recreation. This may include nearby Frazier-McEwen Park, North Gate Mall, Cherokee Square Shopping Center, the bowling alley, movie theatre and a variety of popular restaurants.
Because we are located near the Tullahoma Regional Airport and close to Routes 55/130, Brookdale Tullahoma is easily accessible for families and friends who want to visit. We are also near several medical facilities including Harton Regional Medical Center and a nursing home rehabilitation facility if ever needed.
A Wonderful Selection
Our beautiful, cozy community has 43 apartments, all on one level. Our apartments are spacious and all come with large closets and showers. We have five different floor plans to meet each resident’s budgets and needs. Some of our apartments have patio doors that enter into our courtyard which is meticulously landscaped. The community is comfortable for maneuvering walkers and electric chairs. Our wide hallways are perfect for walking laps to get your exercise. Whether dining on our sun porch with family and friends or in our dining room, you will feel right at home. You can relax with a good book in our library or make sundaes in our ice cream parlor.
At Brookdale Tullahoma, we also pride ourselves on the beautiful landscaping and courtyard, filled with blooming flowers, well-maintained gardens and even a garden swing to enjoy the surrounding beauty. A combination of small-town charm and warmth make our property a perfect place to lay your head at night.
Strong, Caring, Professional Relationships
Local health-care providers are very familiar with our community and several local doctors have had their mom or dad as residents in our building. We keep in touch with healthcare providers through local monthly meetings, luncheons or drop-by visits. We have long-standing relationships with several local physicians through our excellent care and community involvement.

Our motto is, “A happy life is a healthy life”. An active life keeps you going at Brookdale Tullahoma. We value our residents’ opinions and we rely on their feedback to plan activities they enjoy. Each day we plan activities and events that will enrich their minds as well as their soul. You might pass our ice cream parlor and see nail polishing, a friendly game of cards or a competitive game at our WII console.
Our calendar is also filled with exercise, visiting entertainers, outdoor recreation and a variety of excursions. Of course, there is also plenty of socializing with your neighbor. You will definitely see smiles and hear laughter.
Holidays are always special times at Brookdale Tullahoma. Whether it is your birthday or Mother’s Day, we like to have a party with plenty of food. You can be as active as you choose to be because there is always something going on.
Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community
Brookdale Tullahoma is passionate about being active in the community. A variety of events take place within our community that are designed to educate and nurture the spirit of our residents and members of the surrounding community. These events range from Brain Health seminars to Veteran’s Day open houses. Our focus is to help our residents feel a part of the community around them and act as a resource for the local community.
As a corporate sponsor for our local elementary school, Bel Aire Elementary, Brookdale Tullahoma stays involved in the lives of our city. The faculty and children of the school visit our community to perform musicals, plays or seasonal dance routines. In turn, we visit the school to read books, share a special lunch with students or to speak at their open house. Our local high school also visits with their many talented groups to entertain our residents. Our staff participates in several local community service groups to stay abreast of what’s going on around our community.
Our community is also a member of the Alzheimer’s Association and participates in the yearly Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
At Brookdale Tullahoma, our dining staff cooks the way mom used to. We aim to please. We offer three homemade meals a day, served restaurant style in our pleasant and relaxing dining room. We have fried chicken to bring back good memories and also offer grilled chicken for the calorie conscious. Fresh fruit, vegetables and homemade desserts are offered at every meal.
