Activities
On any given day, you’ll see our residents socializing at parties, reminiscing about the old days, listening to music, playing cards, doing arts & crafts, tending their outdoor garden or gathering for a movie. Outings might be for ice cream or scenic drives or to Mill Mountain Zoo or South County Library. To make sure our memory care residents get sufficient calorie intake, their daily menu includes a variety of entrée choices and plenty of easy-to-eat snacks. To keep mealtimes routine, your loved one will sit with familiar people at the same time and same table each day. Our care associates have been trained to use specific prompts, dementia-friendly recipes and specialized table settings to address common dining challenges including difficulty swallowing and handling utensils.Sample Menu
