It’s time to put a lot more living into your loved one’s life. At Brookdale Beaverton, our whole community is built for one thing: memory care. That means from the ground up, from our facilities to our specialist caregivers to our dining room menus, we’re built to help those dealing with Alzheimer’s or other memory loss thrive. Through our Clare Bridge program, perfected over the course of over 25 years, we help gently steer seniors through a life lived well.
Our community provides unique care to residents impaired by symptoms of early, middle, or late stages of Alzheimer’s or dementia. We serve families from Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Cedar Mill, West Haven-Sylvan, and other surrounding towns and neighborhoods west of Portland in the Tualatin River Valley in Washington County. We are located in a safe, quiet residential neighborhood in Beaverton next to Waterhouse Creek, with easy access to Sunset Highway 26, and Portland only 7 miles away.

Memory Care at Brookdale Beaverton
Our memory care focuses on creating a personalized experience. That means there is no one-size-fits-all approach to care here. Techniques that work for one resident may not work for another, so we tailor care to each resident and help address their needs with consistent care assignments whenever possible. Whether it’s our Clare Bridge program for mid to late stages of dementia or our Solace program for the advanced stages of dementia, we have purposeful programs with the compassionate care you and your family need. Here are some of the programs and services we offer:

Clare Bridge
Clare Bridge is our exclusive brand of dementia care created more than 30 years ago.

Solace
Clare Bridge Solace is designed to meet the special needs of residents in the advanced stages of dementia.

Activities
On any given day, you’ll see our residents socializing at parties and other get-togethers, listening to music, playing cards, getting creative with arts and crafts or gathering for a movie. We also offer bingo, fitness classes, nature walks, armchair travels and more. Music is also an important part of our community life, with music games, sing-alongs and other music programs. Each of these activities is enjoyable, yes, but they’re also part of a carefully designed care program to help your loved one live their best life.Activities Calendar

Dining
Our unique dining program features dementia-friendly menus that provide diverse offerings that can assist in full engagement in the dining process regardless of the level of dementia. Selections are easy to manage, familiar and are appealing to the senses. With our reFresh Program, your loved one can awaken their senses with a warm, moistened cloth that is scented with essential oils. Individualized dining assistance, as needed, preserves your family member’s use of utensils as long as possible, and small dining rooms with consistent seating encourage familiarity and socialization.Sample Menu
