Memory Care at Brookdale Burlington
We create personalized experiences in our memory care programs. Techniques that work for one resident may not work for your loved one, so we tailor care to the individual and help address their needs with consistent care assignments whenever possible. Whether it’s our Clare Bridge program for mid to late stages of dementia or our Solace program for the advanced stages of dementia, we have purposeful programs with the compassionate care you and your family need. Here are some of the programs and services we offer:
Clare Bridge is our exclusive brand of dementia care created more than 30 years ago.
Clare Bridge Solace is designed to meet the special needs of residents in the advanced stages of dementia.
ActivitiesEngaging and meaningful activities help our memory care residents maintain their abilities and encourage use of their current skills. Entertaining memory games, pet therapy, crafts, gardening, exercise and musical activities help strengthen their creative and life skills while gently helping to stimulate memory and feel a sense of satisfaction. They’re having fun, yes. But each of these activities is part of a carefully designed care program to help your loved one live their best life and preserve their independence.

DiningPeople living with dementia face a greater risk of weight loss and poor nutrition. That’s why we use mealtime as an opportunity to offer healthy menu choices and encourage our seniors to eat their freshly prepared meals as independently as possible. Your family member will enjoy dementia-friendly menus with familiar and easy-to-manage selections, small dining rooms with consistent pre-selected seating and personal dining assistance as needed. And to help alleviate any confusion or added stress, we keep mealtimes very routine for our memory care community.
Our memory care program is deeply rooted in a person-centered approach. We offer the necessary resources and nurturing staff to care for those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
