There are plenty of vibrant seniors out there who are ready, willing and able to take on the world—with just a bit of help. If you’re living a mostly independent lifestyle but could use an extra hand with some of your day-to-day activities, Brookdale Emerson with both assisted living and memory care could be right for you. Should you need memory care in the future, you’ll find person-centered Alzheimer’s and dementia care within the same community campus.
Take a tai chi class or join your friends for a movie night with popcorn. We’ll take care of the rest so you can focus on fun ways to spend your day. Your basic utilities and maintenance are typically included so you won’t have as many bills to worry about. You’ll also find comfort knowing that staff is on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency. Plus, you’ll enjoy a great selection of apartments with plenty of space and great window light.
Brookdale caregivers are available to provide assistance with daily living, balancing independence with assistance while delivering service with compassion, understanding, and respect.
Our memory care program is deeply rooted in a person-centered approach. We offer the necessary resources and nurturing staff to care for those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
ActivitiesWith our jam-packed activity calendars for each level of care, there’s always something going on at Brookdale Emerson. Start your morning with coffee on the patio before joining a Flex Your Brain activity. Or how about Rummikub or bingo? You can do that, too, and then join friends for happy hour. For memory care residents, our Clare Bridge Daily Path offers a gentle structure of six planned programs per day to help maintain their abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. Armchair travels, craft classes and dancing are just a few of the activities available for your loved one.
DiningOur fine dining experience involves delicious and nutritious restaurant-style meals each day. You’ll dine on such tasty dishes as rosemary and garlic chicken, baked pollock, and roast pork with cherry almond glaze. To avoid any confusion or added stress, we keep mealtimes very routine for your loved one in our memory care community. Our supportive dining environment encourages familiarity and socialization, with all residents sitting together at the same time and at the same table each day and place settings enhancing and providing ease for each person.
