What You’re Saying to Others
Indulge in the beauty of The Houston Arboretum and Nature Center, where you can learn about native wildlife as you explore their scenic habitats. Another place for a peaceful retreat is the Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary, where shaded paths and fluttering birds create a serene setting. If you need a little pick-me-up, stop by a neighborhood coffee shop for a "Cup of Joe" to brighten your day.
A long-term care ombudsman helps residents of a nursing facility and residents of an assisted living facility resolve complaints. Help provided by an ombudsman is confidential and free of charge. To speak with an ombudsman, a person may call the toll-free number 1-800-252-2412.
