Not all senior living communities are created equal. And when it comes to memory care, there are some big benefits to choosing a provider that specializes in the specific requirements of those living with dementia. At Brookdale South Park, we are dedicated to the special care of seniors with Alzheimer’s and other forms of cognitive challenges. From our carefully designed building to a nurturing and highly trained staff, we focus on serving the specific needs of each resident and their family.
Our intimate community offers a comfortable, home-like environment, ideal for individuals with memory loss. We believe that no matter where an individual is in their life, they have the right to live in a dignified manner and enjoy meaningful experiences every day. And because we are specialized, our residents and their families both benefit from the peace of mind that comes with knowing that whenever we’re needed most, we’ll be there.
Memory Care at Brookdale South Park
Our memory care focuses on creating a personalized experience. That means there is no one-size-fits-all approach to care here. Techniques that work for one resident may not work for another, so we tailor care to each resident and help address their needs with consistent care assignments whenever possible. Whether it’s our Clare Bridge program for mid to late stages of dementia or our Solace program for the advanced stages of dementia, we have purposeful programs with the compassionate care you and your family need. Here are some of the programs and services we offer:
Clare Bridge is our exclusive brand of dementia care created more than 30 years ago.
Clare Bridge Solace is designed to meet the special needs of residents in the advanced stages of dementia.
ActivitiesOur residents are offered many indoor and outdoor activities throughout the day, from creative pursuits to engaging in hobbies both old and new. Manicure Monday, happy hour socials, crafting classes, baking and movie nights are just a few of the activities available to help your loved one live their best life. Our residents also enjoy devotional services, dominoes, the walking club and cooking demonstrations too. Music is also an important part of life at Brookdale South Park, with sing-a-longs and Rock ‘n Roll Oldies.
DiningDid you know people living with dementia are at a greater risk for poor nutrition and weight loss? That’s why we use mealtime as an opportunity to offer healthy menu choices for your loved one and create a sense of belonging. Your loved one will enjoy dementia-friendly menus with familiar and easy-to-manage selections, small dining rooms with consistent pre-selected seating and personal dining assistance if needed.
Our memory care program is deeply rooted in a person-centered approach. We offer the necessary resources and nurturing staff to care for those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
