The New York Department of Health (NY DOH) has issued visitor guidance for adult care facilities that meet specific benchmarks and are able to develop a plan for visits. A criteria of the NY DOH guidance is to share a copy of the visitor plan publically. Please refer to Brookdale's Visitor Policy Information for specific visitor guidance for the communities once they meet the DOH criteria.
Because nothing says home like cozy, comfortable spaces and people who care. If you and your family are looking for a memory care community, Brookdale Vestal West can help. Our Alzheimer's and dementia care community, also known as Clare Bridge, is rooted in a person-centered approach. That means we help our residents find a sense of purpose and belonging while also helping them preserve who they are.
For people living with dementia, small moments can have a big purpose. Our residents stay engaged with a gentle daily structure of planned activities to help them maintain their abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. Brain games, dancing and music programs are just a few of the activities our residents enjoy. Along with our programming, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that trained staff is on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency. And best of all, our pet-friendly apartments can be personalized with familiar furniture and belongings so your loved one will feel secure and comfortable.
