B-Fit
To help you stay physically fit, our B-Fit exercise program encompasses current research and guidelines to give you a fun, stimulating and social exercise experience. Eight different class options promise to keep the experience fresh and engaging.

The Ageless Spirit
The Ageless Spirit is an award-winning program designed to help you express simple but powerful practices like kindness, gratitude and joy. Through celebrations of nature, social connection and aging, this is one program you won’t want to miss.

Brain Fit
Fitness isn’t only for your body—it’s critical for your mind too. Our Brain Fit program is a holistic approach that provides education on how you can live a brain healthy lifestyle as well as opportunities for you to form new connections in the brain. We also provide a fun, mental fitness workout on a weekly basis.

My Life Story
Each of our residents has a unique story that deserves to be honored. That’s why we created My Life Story, a storytelling program that allows you to share your perspective and wisdom with others while making friends and learning from their life stories along the way.
7:30 a.m. — Wake Up
You leisurely wake up in your private apartment and wait for the friendly staff to bring your medication
8:00 a.m. — Eat Breakfast
You’re off to the dining room for a delicious breakfast of Greek yogurt, granola and fresh strawberries. And you take the time to catch up with friends over a cup of coffee.
9:00 a.m. — Enjoy Personal Time
Now that you have some time to yourself, you can soak up this relzaxation time by sipping on a second cup of coffee in the dining room and then head to the fireside living room to read a few chapters of the latest novel before your book club meeting later in the week.
10:00 a.m. — Get Moving
It’s time to get the blood pumping! Today, you attend Brookdale’s Fitness B-Fit class. Tomorrow, you’ll likely take a stroll on nearby trails with your walking group.
11:00 a.m. — Get Creative
At the arts and crafts studio, you finish up a watercolor painting of the courtyard gardens that you worked on last week. Across the room, your friends are making jewelry and participating in a YouTube session on pottery making.
12:00 Noon — Eat Lunch
It’s lunchtime! You’re really looking forward to it because you and some other residents are heading out in the Brookdale van to your favorite local café. Lunches at Brookdale are delicious, but it is nice to enjoy a day out with friends.
1:30 p.m. – Stimulate Your Brain
You are always excited to see what new mental activity is on the schedule. Today, you are participating in a Flex Your Brain session. Tomorrow you could be exploring the iPad or engaging in a Grow Your Brain project.
2:30 p.m. — Learn About Health
At the community common area, you listen to an Optimum Life Health Talk on how to reduce stress.
3:30 p.m. — Relax
You’ve been needing a haircut so you conveniently head off to the on-site salon. Your stylist does a fabulous job, and you can't wait to show your friends at dinner.
5:00 p.m. — Dinner
Without fail you receive many compliments on your new hairstyle at dinner. As you sit down at a beautifully-decorated table with your friends, you can hardly wait for the chef-inspired three-course meal topped off with the special no-sugar-added apple pie you asked about last week.
6:00 p.m. — Watch Movies
Of course you saved room for some delicious popcorn. So you sit with your friends in the community living room and watch a film, perhaps a current blockbuster hit or one of the classics.
7:30 p.m. — Get Ready for Bed
After a fun-filled day, it’s time for bed. Once you get back to your apartment, you take a shower with some help from the staff, climb into your cozy bed and do a little reading and contemplation. Tomorrow brings a whole new calendar of activities to choose from, and you can’t wait to experience them all.
