How Much Does Memory Care Cost?
As you’re exploring Clare Bridge® communities, one of the first questions you’ll likely find yourself asking is: “How much does memory care cost?" Since memory care is highly specialized, it can be more expensive than other senior living options. That doesn’t mean it's not a realistic option for you or your loved one. Looking beyond the price tag means understanding the true value of memory care, and you might discover how accessible and worthwhile it can be.

What Factors Affect the Cost of Memory Care?
We don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach to memory care. Our care is as unique as each person we serve. So when determining costs, we take a close look at each person’s individual circumstances, taking into consideration things like apartment style and daily care needs. We're here to work with you in creating a personalized service plan that fits your loved one's needs and budget. The best part? You only pay for the services that your loved one needs and nothing they don’t.

The Cost of Memory Care
While memory care pricing may typically be comparable across regions in the US, it's worth noting that pricing may vary from region to region and city to city due to factors such as location and cost of living.

In addition to the base service rate, you may be responsible for other fees, including a one-time community fee, which can range from $385 to $6,100. You may also be responsible for additional fees according to your care needs. Some communities may incorporate care services into their pricing structures. For more detailed pricing information, contact a Brookdale community or speak to one of our senior living advisors.

If you are a caregiver, consider the impact these demands have on your health and emotional well-being. Sometimes the best thing you can do for your loved one is consider alternative options that allow you to step out of the role of caregiver and back into the role of family member. We want to help ease your mind and burdens and bring you closer to those you love most.

Making sure your loved one receives the care they deserve is important, but navigating the cost can feel overwhelming. The good news is there are several programs and third-party vendors who can help alleviate some of the stress of paying for senior living. For eligible seniors, these programs can assist in helping offset certain costs.
