The New York Department of Health (NY DOH) has issued visitor guidance for adult care facilities that meet specific benchmarks and are able to develop a plan for visits. A criteria of the NY DOH guidance is to share a copy of the visitor plan publically. Please refer to Brookdale's Visitor Policy Information for specific visitor guidance for the communities once they meet the DOH criteria.
When you turned 70, did your passions fade? We didn’t think so. Family. Hobbies. Travel. If anything, age strengthens those interests. But as you get older, you sometimes need a little help. At Brookdale Lakewood, an assistive living community, we can help you with the little things like simple housekeeping and meals—and with bathing and getting dressed, too. And we’ll customize your care to fit your specific needs.
So go do the things you love to do, and let us help with the rest. Maybe you want to try a B-Fit class or explore an old hobby like painting. Or maybe you want to play bingo and then go shopping. Here you can. And our pet-friendly apartments have great natural window light and plenty of room for the grandkids to visit. Plus, your basic utilities, maintenance and transportation are all included so you’ll have fewer bills to worry about. You’ll also find comfort knowing that staff is on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to an emergency.
