Family. Hobbies. Travel. When you turned 70, did your passions fade? We didn’t think so. If anything, age strengthens those interests. But as you get older, you sometimes need a little help. At Brookdale Mirage Inn, we can help you with the little things—like simple housekeeping and meals—and with bathing and getting dressed, too. With assisted living and memory care on one campus, we customize your care to meet your specific needs. So go do the things you love to do, and let us help with the rest.
Try a crafting class in our arts and crafts studio, or go for a swim in our heated outdoor pool. Or maybe you want to join neighbors for a mix and mingle cocktail social at our campus pub. At the end of a long day, you’ll have several floor plans to choose from so you’ll find just the right pet-friendly apartment to fit your style. Your utilities and maintenance are typically included in your basic service rate so you won’t have as many bills to worry about. You’ll also have peace of mind knowing that staff is on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.
Brookdale caregivers are available to provide assistance with daily living, balancing independence with assistance while delivering service with compassion, understanding, and respect.
Our memory care program is deeply rooted in a person-centered approach. We offer the necessary resources and nurturing staff to care for those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
ActivitiesYou can be as involved as much or as little as you choose. Join friends for a B-Fit fitness class and then meet up for a trip to the local art museum. Or how about a jewelry-making class and then movie night at our theater on campus? For memory care residents, the Clare Bridge Daily Path is an evidence-based approach that offers a gentle structure of six planned programs per day, which maintain our residents' abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. These structured activities come with engaging options like trivia, the garden club and resident socials are just a few of the activities your loved one can enjoy.
DiningMake a light meal at your kitchen or kitchenette or head down to the dining room for menu options that are all about you. We work to include your suggestions, your feedback and even your own family recipes during our monthly menu chats. You can also take advantage of our private dining room, pub and coffee shop. And we know those living with dementia are at a greater risk for poor nutrition and weight loss. That’s why your loved one will have opportunities to select healthy, dementia-friendly menu choices and feel a sense of belonging during mealtime. They’ll also benefit from personal dining assistance as needed.
