Memory Care at Brookdale Monterey
We are committed to person-centered partnerships and consistent care assignments whenever possible as part of our care model. That’s why we build relationships with residents based on trust, loving concern and a sense of family. Whether it’s our Clare Bridge program for mid to late stages of dementia or our Solace program for the advanced stages of dementia, we have purposeful programs with the compassionate staff you and your family need. Here are some of our programs:
Clare Bridge is our exclusive brand of dementia care created more than 30 years ago.
Clare Bridge Solace is designed to meet the special needs of residents in the advanced stages of dementia.
ActivitiesOur residents live life well, with schedules full of life-enriching activities chosen specifically to be dementia-friendly. Because we know how important it is for seniors to stay active, your loved one is gently guided through at least six different activities each day. Activities may include fitness classes, nature walks, gardening, art workshops, trivia games, music programs and devotional services.
DiningWe’ve designed a warm and rewarding dining experience to give your family member the dignity and independence they deserve. We use mealtime as an opportunity to offer healthy menu choices and create a sense of belonging. Your loved one will enjoy dementia-friendly menus with familiar and easy-to-manage selections, small dining rooms with consistent pre-selected seating and personal dining assistance as needed.
Our memory care program is deeply rooted in a person-centered approach. We offer the necessary resources and nurturing staff to care for those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
