Because nothing says home like cozy spaces and people who care. If you and your family are looking for a memory care community, Brookdale Niagara can help. Our Alzheimer's and dementia care community, also known as Clare Bridge, is rooted in a person-centered approach. That means we help our residents find a sense of belonging and purpose while also helping them preserve who they are.
This is where state-of-the-art care meets a passion for painting. Our residents stay engaged with a gentle daily structure of planned activities to help them maintain their abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. Brain games, dancing, cooking classes and music programs are just a few of the ways our residents enjoy their days. Along with our programming, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that trained staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency. You and your family will also have a selection of floor plans to choose from so you and your family will find just the right pet-friendly apartment to fit your style.
Memory Care at Brookdale Niagara
We have purposeful programs that offer the care you and your family need, from our Clare Bridge program for mid to late stages of dementia or our Solace program for the advanced stages of dementia. But regardless of the program, our memory care focuses on creating a personalized experience. That means we have no one-size-fits-all approach. Techniques that work for one resident may not work for your loved one, so we tailor care to the individual and help address their needs with consistent care assignments whenever possible. Here are some of the programs and services we offer:
Clare Bridge is our exclusive brand of dementia care created more than 30 years ago.
Clare Bridge Solace is designed to meet the special needs of residents in the advanced stages of dementia.
ActivitiesWhen it comes to activities, your family member has a lot of choices. Painting, book club, gardening, and gentle yoga are just a few of the activities available. Your loved one can also enjoy devotional services in our chapel, spa night, Pictionary and fun social events, too. We even plan off-campus regular outings for scenic drives and lunch at local restaurants. Residents also enjoy InTouch world travel adventures. InTouch at Brookdale brings the outside world in with an intuitively designed touch-screen computer.
