What Our Personal Care Can Offer You
Do you wish you had more time in the day for your family, friends or hobbies rather than worrying about an endless to-do list? Or maybe you’ve started to notice you could use a little help getting around. Everyone’s situation is different, but our community is here to help you find quality care, genuine relationships and time to enjoy your retirement.
Personal Assistance
If you need a little extra assistance with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing or getting to and from places, we’re here to help. You can also request help with things like medication management and coordinating with outside medical providers. And our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.
Health and Wellness
We take a holistic approach to your social, eotional and physical wellness to help keep you growing. Take a B-Fit class for a fun social exercise experience, or strengthen your mind with a Flex Your Brain activity. You can also learn about senior health and well-being topics through our Conversations in Aging program.
Lifestyle Services
Housekeeping, meals and scheduled transportation services? We’ve got that covered. We also have plenty of common areas and amenities you can enjoy with your redefined independence. Get your hair styled at our beauty salon, pick up a snack or last-minute necessities at our general store, or peruse the on-site library. You can even use our private dining room and postal services.
Home-Like Environment
With several floor plans to choose from, including studio and one-bedroom options, you’ll be able to find just the right space to fit your style. Our apartments feature wall-to-wall carpeting, a kitchenette, great storage and plenty of natural window light. Some apartments even have garden views. And you can make it your own with your personal decorating preferences.
Personalized Care
Sometimes we just need a little extra help as we age, and that’s ok. But the last thing you want is for a community to come in and control your world—ordering you around and telling you what you can and can’t do. At Brookdale Northampton, we work with you as a partner because we want you to have the support you need while remaining as independent as possible. Life here is about redefining your independence, building friendships and reigniting an old passion or finding a new one.
