Memory Care at Brookdale Oak Hollow
Our memory care focuses on creating a personalized experience. That means there is no one-size-fits-all approach to care here. Techniques that work for one resident may not work for another, so we tailor care to each resident and help address their needs with consistent care assignments whenever possible. Whether it’s our Clare Bridge program for mid to late stages of dementia or our Solace program for the advanced stages of dementia, we have purposeful programs with the compassionate care you and your family need. Here are some of the programs and services we offer:
Clare Bridge is our exclusive brand of dementia care created more than 30 years ago.
Clare Bridge Solace is designed to meet the special needs of residents in the advanced stages of dementia.
ActivitiesOn any given day, you’ll see our residents enjoying outdoor activities like gardening, as well as indoor bean-bag toss, karaoke and painting. Maybe you’ll find them gathering for parties, getting coffee with a friend or attending movie nights. They’re having fun, yes. But each of these activities is part of a carefully designed care program to help your loved one live their best life.
DiningThree home-style meals and delicious snacks are served daily in our dining area. To help alleviate any confusion or added stress, we keep mealtimes very routine for your loved one. All residents sit together at the same time and same table each day. We also customize place settings for each resident for an easier dining experience, and we can quickly convert meals to hand-held for those who prefer walking or standing, rather than sitting.
Our memory care program is deeply rooted in a person-centered approach. We offer the necessary resources and nurturing staff to care for those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
