The New York Department of Health (NY DOH) has issued visitor guidance for adult care facilities that meet specific benchmarks and are able to develop a plan for visits. A criteria of the NY DOH guidance is to share a copy of the visitor plan publically. Please refer to Brookdale's Visitor Policy Information for specific visitor guidance for the communities once they meet the DOH criteria.
Because nothing says home like cozy spaces and people who care. If you and your family are looking for memory care and support, Brookdale Pittsford can help. Our Alzheimer's and dementia care community, also known as Clare Bridge, is rooted in “a person-centered approach”. That means we help our residents find a sense of belonging and purpose while also helping them preserve who they are.
Here residents stay engaged with a gentle daily structure of planned activities to help them maintain their abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. Brain games, dancing, cooking classes and music programs are just a few of the ways our residents enjoy their days. Along with our programming, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that trained staff is on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.

Clare Bridge is our exclusive brand of dementia care created more than 30 years ago.
Clare Bridge Solace is designed to meet the special needs of residents in the advanced stages of dementia.
ActivitiesArt classes, gardening and bingo are just a few of the activities our residents enjoy. They also enjoy devotional services, Jazz Music Mondays, movie nights and fun social events, like our Sock Hop happy hours. Studies show close relationships play an integral role in aging well. That’s why we help our residents stay connected with InTouch, an intuitively designed touch-screen computer. With easy-to-use picture-screen prompts, our residents with physical or cognitive limitations can launch a virtual world of discovery.
DiningWe use mealtime as an opportunity to offer healthy menu choices and create a sense of belonging. Your loved one will enjoy dementia-friendly menus with familiar and easy-to-manage selections, small dining rooms with consistent pre-selected seating and personal dining assistance. In addition, residents enjoy our cafe bistro with light snacks and beverages available throughout the day.
Our memory care program is deeply rooted in a person-centered approach. We offer the necessary resources and nurturing staff to care for those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
