New Mexico families looking for a more personalized senior living experience can find it at Brookdale Tramway Ridge, a senior living community that offers assisted living and Alzheimer’s and dementia care. We offer a vibrant, comfortable environment that creates a culture of wellness with a relaxed lifestyle. For our assisted living residents, that means more options for living life well and a helping hand with things like dressing, hygiene, mobility, and much more.
For our memory care residents living with dementia or other cognitive challenges, we provide a stable, predictable environment where those with memory loss can thrive through daily moments of joy. We also offer our exclusive Crossings program for individuals in the early stages of Alzheimer’s or dementia. While not appropriate for all persons with dementia, this program is a stepping stone between assisted living and our Clare Bridge memory care program. And with multiple care levels on campus, you and your family have the security of knowing you can often remain in your home, without leaving familiar surroundings and close friendships, even if your needs change over time. And there’s comfort in knowing that our staff is on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.
Brookdale caregivers are available to provide assistance with daily living, balancing independence with assistance while delivering service with compassion, understanding, and respect.
Our memory care program is deeply rooted in a person-centered approach. We offer the necessary resources and nurturing staff to care for those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
ActivitiesLiving life well here means having plenty of options for how to spend your days. For assisted living residents, you’ll have a wide range of activities available like Flex Your Brain, creative cooking classes, yoga and tech classes. For our memory care residents, we offer engaging dementia-friendly activities like musical theater, sip and paint classes and karaoke. Our memory care calendar is designed to help seniors living with dementia stay connected to their sense of self, new and old hobbies, and passions.
DiningWe serve meals restaurant-style so you can enjoy conversation with others at your table. You can also use our private dining room for your family’s gatherings or other special events. For our memory care residents, we’re aware they may be at a greater risk for poor nutrition and weight loss. That’s why at mealtime, your loved one will enjoy dementia-friendly menus with familiar and easy-to-manage selections, small dining rooms with consistent pre-selected seating and personal dining assistance as needed. We also have an ice cream parlor and bistro on campus for treats and snacks.
