Our residents in our stand-alone memory care community also have fun activities to look forward to. From creative pursuits to engaging in hobbies both new and old, your family member will be gently guided through a series of dementia-friendly activities each day. We choose activities that support our residents’ wellness like music programs, dancing, the baking club and Name that Tune.

While other communities use universal staffing across all buildings, Brookdale Westlake Village has cooks and servers in each care building so that our residents can enjoy a restaurant experience with multiple menu options no matter what their level of care. You can look forward to healthy and delicious meals with a variety of seasonal menu options prepared just the way you like them. We have an in-house pastry chef to make seasonally fresh-baked desserts daily, and our culinary team has also won multiple awards in the area for their soups made from scratch every day.

For our memory care residents, we serve three home-style meals and delicious snacks daily. We use mealtime as an opportunity to offer healthy menu choices and create a sense of belonging. Your loved one will enjoy dementia-friendly menus with familiar and easy-to-manage selections, small dining rooms with consistent pre-selected seating and personal dining assistance as needed.
