Senior Vice President, Resident and Family Engagement and Experience
Sara Terry joined Brookdale in November 2003 and has served as Senior Vice President of Resident and Family Engagement since January 2016. She previously served as our Vice President of Resident and Family Engagement from November 2003 until January 2016. In January 2016, her role expanded to include the Dining, Dementia Care, and Environmental Services functions. Before joining Brookdale, Ms. Terry served as Vice President of Operations, Clinic Management for CRAssociates. She has more than 40 years of experience in senior living and is known as a pioneer helping to change the perception and experience of aging. Ms. Terry earned a B.S in Health and Physical Education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She serves as a mentor and a visiting instructor at Cornell University as well as an Industry Scholar for the Cornell Institute for Healthy Aging Futures (CHIF). Ms. Terry is also the Brookdale National Team Coordinator for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, helping lead Brookdale’s Diamond Team with more than $19 million raised since 2008.
