Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Tara Jones has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Brookdale since August of 2020. In this role, she leads the company’s enterprise technology strategy, overseeing information technology, cyber security, digital infrastructure and core systems that support business operations and innovation.
Prior to joining Brookdale, Ms. Jones held several senior leadership roles across complex healthcare organizations. She served as Chief Information Officer for hospitals and health systems at Tenet Healthcare, Chief Information Officer of the Detroit Medical Center and Vice President of Enterprise Solutions at Vanguard Health Systems. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for driving large scale transformation, modernizing technology platforms and strengthening cybersecurity posture in highly regulated environments.
Ms. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Communication Disorders from Bridgewater State University and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Springfield College. She also completed post-graduate studies at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
