The Holidays are a time to eat, drink and be merry. But drinking doesn’t have to involve alcohol. Mocktails can be just as exciting as traditional cocktails. If you’re new to the world of mocktails or are looking for new holiday drinks to try, check out this list for inspiration.

Cranberry-Ginger Fizz

If you want something light and refreshing with loads of holiday flavor, give this sparkling cranberry mocktail recipe from Oh So Delicioso a try. Three simple ingredients make a festive drink with a boost of vitamin C from the cranberry juice. This recipe would be an easy one to modify, too. Add a splash of ginger beer for a boost of holiday coziness, or add a little orange juice for a touch more sweetness.

Pear Cinnamon Mocktail

Pear may not be the first fruity flavor that comes to mind when making holiday drinks, but its sweet and subtle flavor pairs wonderfully with warm holiday spices like cinnamon and vanilla. In The Palatable Life’s pear cinnamon mocktail recipe, she combines the pear, cinnamon and vanilla with a little bit of lemon juice and sparkling water or ginger ale for brightness. Throw in some maple syrup for sweetness, add a cinnamon sugar rim for fun and you’ve got a unique mocktail that won’t make you feel like you’re missing out on any of the holiday cheer.

Melting Snowman Mocktail

This one will be a hit with adults and kids alike. The Melting Snowman Mocktail is creamy from the coconut milk, sweet from the pineapple juice and extra fun with the snowman marshmallow garnish. Save this mocktail to make with the whole family for some extra festive fun.

Hot Buttered Yum

If you’re more of a warm drink kind of person, give this Hot Buttered Yum recipe from Country Living a try. A non-alcoholic version of hot buttered rum, this recipe combines cream soda, butter and various spices to make a drink that’s sure to keep you cozy this holiday season. Garnish your finished drink with star anise or a cinnamon stick and serve in your favorite holiday mug!

Non-Alcoholic Punches

Want to make something in a larger batch that everyone can enjoy? Try one of these non-alcoholic punches. With recipes like spiced apple cider punch, pomegranate ginger ale punch and winter berry punch, you’ll have a different drink idea for every holiday event you attend this year. Grab some fresh fruit for garnish and your favorite punch bowl set and everyone is sure to want a glass!
